PSI’s Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree (BSHS) program is designed for students who already hold an Associate of Applied Science degree in a health care field. The roles and responsibilities of health care clinicians requires the commitment to ethical practice grounded in research and practiced in the context of a diverse society.
This Bachelor of Science degree program builds upon your current experience and provides a variety of career options after completion. Graduates of the BSHS program may transfer/enroll to a graduate-level health care career program that may include, but is not limited to, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Athletic Trainer, and Prosthetist/Orthotist. Some additional courses may be required for various graduate programs.
For graduates opting to enter the workforce directly after graduation, the additional earned bachelor’s degree will provide career advancement opportunity and upward economic mobility.
Obtaining your Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree provides career opportunities offering job stability, flexible schedules, a good job outlook, and rewarding financial benefits as part of the essential workforce. If you are Physical Therapist Assistant with an AAS degree or a health care professional with an AAS degree in another health care field looking to move forward in your career and increase your employment opportunities, then the BSHS degree program at Professional Skills Institute may be a good option for you.
