RN to BSN Degree Completion Program

PSI’s online RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) program is created specifically for working Licensed Registered Nurses. A BSN degree provides expanded career opportunities and greater mobility within the field.

Graduates are equipped to integrate leadership skills and professional nursing values, clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and commitment to continuous professional development to promote quality health outcomes. PSI’s comprehensive curriculum builds upon your current nursing knowledge and experience to prepare you to provide patient-centered, compassionate, and safe nursing care based on research evidence, clinical expertise, and patient/family values.

TRANSFER CREDITS

  • 90 block quarter credits transfer from your associate degree in nursing program (60 semester credits)
  • You may also transfer additional credits of up to 50% (45 quarter credits) of the total program credits

Graduates of the RN to BSN Degree Completion will demonstrate:

  • Integrate knowledge gained through liberal education to contemporary, professional nursing practice in the context of a diverse society.
  • Provide patient-centered, compassionate, and safe nursing care based on research evidence, clinical expertise, and patient/family values.
  • Assess the role of the nurse leader in quality improvement, facilitation of teamwork and collaboration; and creation of a healthy work environment, to maximize safe and high-quality healthcare.
  • Evaluate information technologies, information management tools, and communication technologies to support clinical decision-making, care coordination, and error prevention.
  • Examine the influence of health care policy, finance, and regulatory environments on quality healthcare.
  • Integrate leadership skills and professional nursing values, including legal and ethical implications, clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and commitment to continuous professional development to promote quality health outcomes.
